Modalities include:
Aorta, Cardiac, FAST, Pelvis for supervised scanning (Post introductory course) and participants in a course will also learn how to integrate ultrasound into the practice of Central Venous Catheter (CVC) insertion.
There is also an advanced PoCUS course which includes modalities such as gallbladder, advanced cardiac with ejection fraction estimation, deep venous thrombosis of the lower extremities, soft tissue (eg Abscess vs cellulitis), foreign body location, and more.
For the supervised scanning days you will be supervised in a progressively more independent fashion to ensure competence in bedside ultrasound. Guided by the skilled hands of our qualified staff.
